As I was reading the new Prayer letters on WBF site,I was delighted to find your webpage.I am a long time (60 yr) member of Trinity Baptist and I love our missionaries.I know so many of them from their attending our Mission Conferences over the years,but I have not had the joy of meeting you. However,since I learned of Bro.Mike's cancer diagnosis,I pray for you every day,knowing that God is in the answering business to give us what He knows is best for us.He is our refuge and His everlasting arms are always underneath us.Love and prayers. Yet another life that you guys have touched. I had the pleasure of meeting the Lanes around 1987 and was inspired and blessed as a result. Rarely have I heard such heart-felt and spirit-driven preaching as what I experienced in the pews of Faith Baptist Church when Mike Lane was preaching!The Lanes have been my friend and spiritual conscience for years and dear indeed to me and my family. Pastor Lane even presided over my wedding! All this to say, you have been such a blessing to me! I will continue to ask the Lord to lead and protect you, showering His blessings, mercy, and grace on you. Mary and I love you dearly!

We just wanted you to know that though we do not speak very often due to the business of debutation, we pray for you everyday. HI Dad & Mom! You know all our thoughts and prayers are with you continually night and day! You also know this, but I am letting everyone else know too that I am so thankful to God for you both and that you ministered to me first by teaching and training me "in the way that I should go" and by God's promise and grace I have not departed from it; and by your teaching, love, and prayers I have a relationship with my Christ JESUS; AND as a result of that, Cosmin and I are raising a godly heritage to fear, worship and serve a LIVING SAVIOUR in the Truth!
